An Táin Arts Centre are delighted to announce the second group exhibition by the artists of Bó Studios. For this exhibition the artists delve into the space between dreams and reality; what is the meaning of a dream and how much of a dream is reality for us?

Each of the artists will approach this theme in their own medium - ceramic, print, photography illustration, mixed media, textile and

fabrics, coming together to create both their own work and a communal piece.

For this exhibition they will work with curator Clara McSweeney. Clara is an emerging curator who currently works in The Lab Gallery. She is the 2023 recipient of the ARC-LAB Gallery Curatorial Scholarhip.

Bó Studios was established in 2020 and is supported by An Táin Arts Centre, The Arts Council of Ireland / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Arts Office of Louth County Council. It currently houses ten professional artists; Etaoin O’ Reilly, David Callan, Bláthnaid McClean, John Connolly, Stephen Hurley, Linda McConville, Úna Curley, Julie Corcoran, Gráinne Murphy and Jenny Slater.

Paul Hayes, Director of An Táin Arts Centre says “This promises to be one of the highlights of our Basement Gallery programme for 2025. The collaboration of ten artists working in a variety of mediums will be an eclectic visual feast that demonstrates an unyielding commitment to creative expression.”

Basement Gallery opening hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm.
