Community Historian Brendan Matthews will present the first History & Heritage Walk n Talk of 2025 on Wednesday April 16th next beginning at Old Hill outside the entrance to Millmount Museum 7.30pm.

Titled “What Lies Beneath”, Brendan will elaborate on the results of the archaeological investigations that were carried out on the large earthen mound at Millmount from 2013 to 2015, along with the coming of the Normans to the Boyne Valley and the subsequent usage of the Millmount complex over the following centuries.

Free event - however Donations for the continued Research & Study of Community History will be gratefully accepted on the evening.
